Under new management, which it needed and I appreciate. Cleaner dining room, albeit a bit dated in style. Food seems to be fresher in comparison
It's above decent for Chinese Food on Maui, especially in slim pickins Pukalani.

I've had the Hamburger Steak, the Won Tons, the Roast Duck, Cold Ginger Chicken, Black Bean Sauce Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Grandmas Tofu and Cheeseburger....all was pretty tasty and fresh although I will say sometimes, they did have a generous portion of vegetables instead of meat with the saucy dishes.

I'm not sure if was the time of day I went here or what, but the food was terrible. I purchased one of the Won Ton Soups, The Crispy Chicken and their Sweet and Sour Ribs. The Chicken was nothing but bones and the Ribs were nothing but bones. The soup was vegetables over hot water with one shrimp in it and 2 Won Tons. They also had a bunch of recycling laying around in the restaurant. I spent over $40.00 and could have went to Da Kitchen Or Threes Bar and Grill for real Cuisine. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I tend to always order the same ol same ol thing at this place,  my favorite hamburger steak.  It's aight. The mini is perfect for me 1 scoop rice 1 scoop mac and two hamburger patties on a bed of cabbage  with brown gravy.  It's okay most of the time.  I usually place an order and go to the bank then when I return it's usually ready.  The young gentleman that works the counter is nice.  I really have no complaints or nothing to rave about this place.  It's just a place for us country people to eat at.

    There's another location in Wailuku.

Their chicken katsu is delicious! The food has more flavor since the new family took over. I had the house chow mein also and it was yummy. Not many places to eat upcountry so it's nice to have Wei wei there.

I don't know why there's so many negative reviews of this place! I think it's great Chinese take out for the price and also has a ton of local foods. Personally, I was looking for more authentic Chinese food on the island and this place is great and carries much more than Panda, but my boyfriend enjoys it too for the BBQ chicken and local plates. I always get the tofu vegetable which is something I never find at other "Chinese" places here as most are very local-influenced. Their stirfrys are great and flavorful, but I wish there were more Chinese dishes available!
